Adolph Hosek, 96, of Lincoln passed away July 21, 2021. Born April 6, 1925, in Ericson, NE to Frank and Francis (Babka) Hosek.
Adolph was a loving husband to Dorothy (Pekarek) Hosek for 72 years. He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company after 40 years of service.
Adolph was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Family members include his wife, Dorothy; children Karen (Dana) Poore, Douglas (Lori) Hosek, Connie (Ed) Nelson, all of Lincoln; grandchildren Todd Hosek, Brian (Veronica) Poore, Julie Poore, Kelsey Schultz, Lindsey Butcher, Troy Hosek, and Robb Nelson; step-grandchildren Alisha (Kent) Ninneman, Adam (Kaylan) Lovgren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ed, Alfred, and Joe; sisters Emma Blaha, Anna Bonne, Lydia Kovarik; grandson-in-law Zac Butcher.
Rosary: 10:00 a.m. Saturday (7-24-21) followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 6111 Morrill Ave. Interment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery following the reception.
Visitation one hour prior to service time at the church.
