Arline Ruth Nelson, of South Bend, passed away February 29, 2016. Born August, 13, 1936 in Lincoln, NE to Allan and Ruth Carstensen- Johnson.
Family members include her loving husband, Kenneth “Ken” Nelson; children, Mark Nelson, Dean (Suzi) Nelson, Traci Nelson; grandchildren, Meredith, Shane, Natalie, Nicholas, and Maxwell; great-grandchildren, Regan and Jackson; brother, Richard Johnson. Preceded in death by her parents; uncle, Leland; sister in law, Jean. Special thanks to the caregivers and nurses through the V.N.A. (Visiting Nurse Association) for the wonderful care given to Arline.
Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday (3-19-16) Bethany Christian Church, 1645 N. Cotner, with Pastor Daryl Lauber officiating. Private family burial at a later date.
