Marilee Gayle Johnson

Marilee Gayle Johnson, 68, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at home. Born May 31, 1948 to A. Duane & Dorothy (Holt) Hagstrom. Marilee took a job with USDA Farm Service Agency, followed by a move to the United States Immigration & Naturalization Service and then to U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement where she retired in 2010.

Marilee is survived by her husband, Stephen; daughters, Stephanie Johnson (Ward Jacobson of Minneapolis, Melissa Schoenen (Kevin) of Seattle, Kristen Johnson (Chris Killam) of New London, NH, son, David Johnson of Lincoln; two grandchildren, Seth Jacobson and Lukas Killam; brother, Gary Hagstrom of Gretna, sister, Marlene Castle (Roger) of Denver, brothers, Greg Hagstrom of Baltimore, Gene Hagstrom (Laurie) of Lincoln, and Galen Hagstrom (Deb) of Lincoln; aunt Merna Hagstrom of Ashland, uncle Dennis Holt (Marge) of Rochester, MN and aunt Cynthia Holt of Lincoln; several cousins, many nieces and nephews, and countless friends.

A Celebration of Marilee’s life will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at First Plymouth Congregational Church, Lincoln.

Memorials may be given to the family for future designation in Marilee’s memory.
