James Franklin Gilman, Sr., 76, of Lincoln, passed away February 21, 2016. Born May 20, 1939 in Meadow Grove, NE to John Lawrence and Clara Edna (Gronau) Gilman.
Family members include his significant other of 7 years, Janet Centineo; children, James F. (Heather) Gilman, Jr., Norman Gilman, Sherri (Delray) Coffman and Jennifer Sharp; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Eileen Hoskinson and Ruby Maertins; brother, John (Agnes) Gilman. Preceded in death by parents, former spouse, one grandson and three siblings.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday (2-25-16) Grace Lutheran Church, 416 Park Ave., Norfolk, NE. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Norfolk, NE. Visitation one hour prior to service time at the church.
Additional Visitation: 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday (2-23-16) at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street, Lincoln, NE.
