Mary K. Gehr, 78, of Lincoln, passed away August 10, 2015. Born July 25, 1937, in Humphrey, NE to John Ambrose and Margaret (Costello) White. Ret. Office Manager, Lancaster County Public Defenders Office.
Family members include her children, Steven Gehr, Glenwood, IA, Diane (Nathan) White, Lincoln, NE, Karen (Mark) Hamilton, Albuquerque, NM, David (Rachel) Gehr, Boulder, CO, Joe (Jodi) Gehr, Lincoln, NE, Alan Gehr (Greg Balmer), Chicago, IL, Kathleen (Thomas) Bizal, Lincoln, NE; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, C. Thomas, Edward and Patrick White. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Marvin; brothers, Jim, Leo and Jack White.
Funeral Service: 11:30 am Saturday (8-15-15) St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 8550 Pioneers Blvd with Pastor Kerry O’Bryant officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Bryan Hospital School of Nursing Scholarship Fund.
Visitation: 2-8 pm Friday with family present from 5-8 pm at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ St. and one hour prior to service time at the church.
