Howard V. Baker, 92, of Lincoln, passed away August 20, 2016. Born April 23, 1924 in Moon, WI to Edward and Hildred (Wickershim) Baker. Ret. Construction Contractor. WWII U. S. Navy Veteran. Member of Piedmont Seventh-day Adventist Church, American Legion Post #253, D.A.V. Chapter #26, D.A.V.A Unit #26 and Heroes Afield. Howard was an inventor, carver, gardener, enjoyed tinkering and his grandchildren.
Family members include his sons, Lee Baker, Wellington, KS and Bobby (Judy E.) Baker, Firth; daughters, Sandra Hauch, Wayne, Judy Lea Baker and friend, Joyce, Valparaiso; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Margie Van Dorn, Spokane, WA; step-children and step-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; wives, Betty Lou, Betty Ann, LaVaughn; sister, Ruth, and brothers; Edward, Leonard and Benny.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday (8-27-16) Piedmont Seventh-day Adventist Church, 4801 ‘A’ Street with Pastor Michael Halfhill officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church.
