Tammy Rose Overton, 51, Lincoln, passed away January 9, 2017 after a short battle with cancer surrounded by her loved ones . Born February 6, 1965 in Fremont, NE to H. Dale and Janice Kaye (Klitzke) vonSeggern. Tammy graduated from Logan View High School in 1983. Married her husband Jim on July 1, 2011. She was an original founder of the Pink Ladies. Member of VVS Leagues.
Survived by her father, Dale vonSeggern, Hooper, NE; husband, Jim; daughters, Ashley (Kile) Wilhite and Siearra (Derick) Bridgmon, all of Lincoln; grandchildren, Kyler Wilhite, Kaylee and Lilly Bridgmon; step-sons, Stormy and Joseph Overton; brothers, Terry (Nancy) vonSeggern, Daniel (Lori) vonSeggern, all of Fremont, NE; sister, Roxanne (Ron) Meyer, Hooper, NE; sister-in-law, Sharon vonSeggern; nieces, nephews, and many other family, friends and loved ones. Preceded in death by mother, Janice; brother, Darrel vonSeggern; grandparents, and nephew, Nick Meyer.
Funeral Service:10:00 a.m. Friday (1-13-17) Oak Lake Evangelical Free Church, 3300 North 1st Street with Pastor Dale Ribble officiating. 1:00 p.m. Friday burial in the Hooper Cemetery. Visitation: 2-7 p.m. Thursday with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
