Leonard E. Schuman, 81, Lincoln, died Monday (1-30-12). Born (12-1-30) in Hastings, Nebraska to Leonard and Lydia (Wagner) Schuman. Ret. Home Builder. Leonard was a carpenter for Peterson Construction and then started Schuman and Zach Construction with a partner for twenty-five years. He was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.
Family members include his wife Emily; daughters, son-in-law: Debra Schuman, Lincoln, Janet and Jim Holthaus, Omaha; son: Leonard James “Jim” Schuman, Lincoln; grandchildren: Eric and Andrew Holthaus, Brandon and Zachary Schuman; sisters: Maxine Culter, Greeley, CO, Doris Watson, Hastings. Preceded in death by parents, and daughter-in-law Janelle.
