Lois G. Sterns Nieman Benner, 94, of Lincoln passed away Friday (3-22-13). Born (8-14-18) on a farm north of Malcolm, NE to Earl and Grace (Drake) Sterns. Graduate of Malcolm High School class of 1936. Lois worked at Continental National Bank and First National Bank retiring in 1979.
Survived by her sons, Darrell (Carol) Nieman and Delbert (Jan) Nieman; grandsons, Todd (Angela) Nieman, Jason (Christine) Nieman and Michael Nieman; great grandchildren, Amber, Brett and Max Nieman, twins Grace and Emily Nieman, Christopher and Aaron Elofson; all of Lincoln; sister-in-law, Ruth Sterns; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; husbands, Emil Nieman and George Benner, Jr.; sisters, Doris Jordan, Marjorie Ang and Emily Busboom; brothers, twin brother Leslie, Wendell and Donald Sterns.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Wednesday (3-27-13) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street. Graveside Service: 2:00 pm at Lincoln Memorial Park.
