Virginia B. Bates, 90, of Lincoln, died Sunday (12-29-13). Born (7-11-23) in Panama, NE to Oscar and Laura (Tilton) Nelson. Homemaker.
Family members include her daughters, Jeannie Bates, Omaha, NE, Jan (Jon) Huwe, and Olinda (Rich) Olson, all of Lincoln; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Dale Nelson, California. Preceded in death by parents; brother LaVon.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Friday (1-3-14) Christ Lutheran Church, 4325 Sumner Street with Rev. Jeff Scheich officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery.
