Jean Juanita Brennan, 89, of Lincoln, died Monday, June 18, 2012. Born December 10, 1922 in Alliance, Nebraska to Walter and Lois Beulah (Reeves) Vogel. She grew up on a farm outside of Alliance, Nebraska and graduated from Alliance High School in 1941. She attended beauty school in Omaha, Nebraska in 1945, married Eugene Brennan in 1950 and they lived in Colorado while Eugene was in the service. They moved to Alliance where Jean worked as a beautician for 35 years. They moved to Lincoln in 1992. Jean loved taking care of her flowers and doing yard work.
Family members include her son James and wife Paula Brennan, of Lincoln; grandsons Benjamin and Joseph. Preceded in death by her husband Eugene “Red” Brennan, parents, brother Ervin “Joe” Vogel, sister Yule Elaine Schwaderer.
Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012, Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street. Rev. David Lux, officiating. Private family interment.
