Pat was united in marriage to Larry on April 27, 1957. They were blessed with 39 years of marriage before Larry’s passing on January 23, 1997.
She worked at State Farm Insurance as an Underwriting Assistant for 29 years before her retirement in 1999 and made wonderful friends during her time there. She enjoyed taking care of her backyard & feeding the fish in her pond as well as her daily trips to McDonalds for 25+ years.
She was a loving mother to her 4 children and enjoyed her 8 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She always made them laugh with her witty comments and holidays at her house were a highlight of the year with so many special memories. She drew people in with her amazing sense of humor and everyone who met her fell in love with her.
She is survived by Daughters Pam (Doug) Cast of Beaver Crossing and Patrice (John) Conradt of Lincoln; Sons Alan Witkowski of St. Louis and David Witkowski of Lincoln; Grandchildren Nicole (Tyson) Priest, Spencer (Megan) Conradt, Nolan (Amanda) Conradt, Brittni Warneke, Nathan Olson, Dustin (Clare) Cast, Amber Cast, Logan Cast; Great-Grandchildren Alexis, Jacey, Delaney, Kinsley Priest; Kailey, Kyler, Ashlyn, Avery Conradt; Brogan, Camden, Decker Conradt; Eli, Landyn, Oakley, Apollo Warneke; Rosalie Cast. Plus many extended family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Larry, parents John and Beatrice Nightingale, sister Joan Torres.
Family will begin greeting at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Rosary at 10:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., with a luncheon immediately following, all being held on Monday, January 20th at St, John the Apostle Catholic Church, 7601 Vine Street, Lincoln, NE. Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. that afternoon at Lincoln Memorial Park. Please meet at Gate #2.
Memorials can be provided to the family which will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House charity, or please enjoy a McDonalds hamburger with extra onion/extra pickle in her memory!
