So many fond memories of Albert. As a child my Grandma and Grandpa Buel lived outside of Alvo on a farm they rented from Alberts folks for many years. The Rent was cheap and he always liked to come and collect it so he could get eggs for his Mother and get teased by my Grandpa! He always teased right back! Over time I learned how to understand him better and so loved his smile! He enjoyed sharing things that went on on his folks farm, as well as see what was new at my Grandparents place. Liked to check in on the baby pigs and lambs. My Grandma was an excellent cook and always sent him home with something sweet. As I got older and worked at a local heating and air Co. he would stop in to pay for services or buy furnace filters from me and loved to chat with us that were in the office as he was on his way to eat at the nearest Runza for lunch! I often would ask about him when I would see Jay or Brenda and they always had a good report on how he was doing. So very sorry to hear that he has went to be with his folks. A loss of a wonderful intelligent man with a heck of a big heart. Rest easy Albert heaven gained another angel. Respectfully, “Red”

I remember Albert was always interested in family history, as was I. He enjoyed attending the Meyer, Nolte, Schmidt reunions the Sunday before Memorial Day at Trinity Lutheran Walton. Albert’s uncle Herbert Finke would fly in from California and stay with Albert that weekend. My grandmother Marie Kemper had Albert in her Sunday school class. She always said he was a very intelligent boy, even at a very young age. Albert knew his savior.
