Janet C. Weyhrauch

October 14, 1926 - November 22, 2024

Janet C. Weyhrauch peacefully passed away on Friday (11/22/2024). Born Aurora, Il. to Thomas L. and Mary Elizabeth (Shaffer) Crabbe.

Family builder and a “second mom” to many. Graduate Franklin High School, Cedar Rapids, IA, University of Iowa. Pi Beta Phi President, PEO Chapter DL President, Boy and Girl Scouts life member, Co-founder Capitol City Swimming and Diving League, Nebraska Woman’s Golf Association, Abendmusik Board, Lincoln Arts Association, Lincoln Symphony Guild member, Second Church of Christ, Scientist and First Plymouth Congregational Church.

Survivors: daughters, Victoria W. Hurd, Elizabeth Shea McCoy (Michael), Lincoln; Mary Hunt, Santa Fe, NM; sons, William David, Lincoln, Bruce B. (LuAnn), Juneau, AK, Thomas A. (Roxane), Gig Harbor, WA, James W. (Amy), Santa Fe, NM.

Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025, First Plymouth Congregational Church, 2000 D St., The Rev. Dr. James Keck. No visitation. Cremation.
