James N Simpson, 85, of Lincoln, passed away October 24, 2024. Born September 10, 1939, in Onawa, Iowa to Newell and LaVonne (Andersen) Simpson.

James was the owner of Salvage Warehouse for 47 years.

James is survived by his beloved wife Becky; children Sherry (John) Schweitzer, Scott Simpson, Stacy (Blake) Brooker, Ryan (Tasha) Simpson, Matthew Simpson, and Lindsay Simpson; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 am Friday, November 1, 2024 at St. Marks United Methodist Church (8550 Pioneers Blvd, Lincoln, NE 68520). Viewing will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be sent to Salvage Warehouse (4333 N 61st St, Lincoln, NE 68507).

I met Mr. Simpson one time 20 years ago with Stacy at his home. I am praising God that he professed faith in Jesus Christ and he kept the faith to eternal life in heaven now because of Jesus Christ. For us here on earth, today is still the day to be saved. This is God”a free gift to all who will receive, but it must be received.
