David James Foote, known as DJ by all who loved him. The 7 month old precious son of Luke and Kari (Holman) Foote of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed from this world (10-9-10) at Children’s Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.
Survived by parents; grandparents James and Beverly Foote of Ralston, Nebraska; Linda and Robert Busby of Denton, TX; and David and Martha Holman of Ashland, Nebraska; great grandparents Marvin and Norma Jean Smits of Wolbach, Nebraska; Geraldine Wiant and Steve Kendall of Coggon, Iowa; and Margie Quisenberry of Campbell, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, and beloved friends.
DJ will be remembered forever as a beautiful child with a strong spirit who brought joy to everyone who knew him. We have been blessed to know and love him, and our hearts are forever changed.
There will be a Life Celebration Gathering where the family will greet friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at funeral home.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday (10-15-10) at 11:00 a.m. in the Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
