I lived just a few doors down the street from Amber when I was maybe 6-7 yrs old. Me and Amber and my sisters played together frequently and I still remember her to this day. In fact, she popped in my head just a few weeks back! We moved from that neighborhood when I was 9yrs old and I haven’t seen her since but I never forgot her or the nice memories of playing together. Much sympathy and prayers to her family.

I first met Amber in law school, and then got a chance to work with her at the Department of Revenue. She was always a joy to talk to and laugh with and she will be sorely missed by those who had the good fortune to know her. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Dear Jim and Carol, I was deeply saddened to hear about the loss of your dear daughter. Although I never had the pleasure of knowing her, I know she was a very intelligent and a well-respected attorney. I can’t imagine the grief of a parent having to endure the loss of your child. My sincere condolences to you with hopes her memories will help to sustain you. May God’s comfort and love be with you.

Amber and I grew up on the same block. We went swimming together at High Point Pool. I had many sleep overs at her house. We graduated from North High after having so many classes together. We were also on Student Council together. Then we both went to Kearney State College. Amber graduated a year before me. I got her Christmas card returned to me this year and now I know why. I am so sad she is gone and had to battle a long illness. She was such a beautiful person both inside and out. I will cherish all the fond memories and fun times we had together ❤️

I had the pleasure of working with Amber. She was a lovely, smart, caring person who left the earth too soon. Take solace in the good she did on this earth and that she is now in heaven. God bless her and her family.

Amber was one of the first people I met in Law School. We were in the same section and often sat at the same table in the library to study. She was witty, kind, and very intelligent. A few years after graduation, we road tripped to Kansas City and met up its two other UNL law school grads for dinner and to see Phantom of the Opera. We had an excellent time. I was in Lincoln for a seminar a couple years ago, and I called Amber and we met for dinner. We shared lots of laughs about our law school days, and of course we shared our work war stories. I am so sorry that I didn’t know Amber was sick, and I hope she had a gentle passing. Prayers of comfort for her parents and other friends. Amber, you will be profoundly missed. I am so glad I got to enjoy your friendship. You helped make that scary first year of law school an enjoyable time.
