Marie Elizabeth Bogema, 85, of Lincoln passed away March 16, 2022. Born August 12, 1936, in Sterling, NE to Walter and Minnie (Neeman) Engel.

Marie was a daycare provider and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sterling, NE.

Family members include her daughter Kathy Bogema, Lincoln; son Ricky Bogema (friend Todd Huebner), Des Moines, IA; special friends Dixie Johnson and Kay Mankhey; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 10:30 am Saturday (3-19-22) St. John’s Lutheran Church, 440 Ohio Street, Sterling, NE. Interment in the Sterling Cemetery.

Visitation from 5-7 p.m. Friday (3-18-22) Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ street.

Memorials to the family for future designation.
