Janet M. Zoz, 76, of Alvo passed away May 3, 2021. Born August 20, 1944 in Hastings, NE and adopted by William and Elsie VonSpreckelsen.
Janet was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Elmwood and the Altar Society. She worked at Patton’s Pharmacy for many years. Janet enjoyed farm life, traveling with her husband, spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as going out with her friends. She was an avid Yankees fan and was always game to try a new adventure such as skydiving, zip lining, axe throwing, driving sprint cars, go karts, water and snow skiing.
Family members include her children Michelle (Mark) Meyer, Matthew Zoz and Kristin Zoz; grandchildren Joshua (Maddie), Jenna, Andrew, Rylan, and Ellie Meyer, Alexandrea and Martina Ita; brother-in-law Richard Morgaridge; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Late in life Janet was able to connect with her biological family and enjoyed getting to know them.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Michael, and grandson Jacob Ita.
Visitation: Friday (5-7-21) from 5-7 pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Elmwood with Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m.
Private family memorial mass.
Friends are welcome to the graveside service on Saturday (5-8-21) at 11:00 a.m. in the Elmwood Cemetery.
