Lee Dorlyn Bowers, 95, of Lincoln, passed away January 9, 2021. Born March 16, 1925 in Lincoln, NE to Thomas W. and Mary A. (Bartlett) Bowers. Lee served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a former member of Rosemont Alliance Church and retired from Goodyear Tire Plant in 1996.
Family members include his daughter Gloria (Douglas) Sell, Valparaiso, IN; grandchildren Stephen (Vicki) Sell, Boise, ID and Justin (Cassie) Sell, Dublin, OH; great-grandchildren Courtney, Zachary, Casey and Hailey; brother Walter Bowers, Banning, CA. Preceded in death by his parents and wife of 61 years, Lucille.
Graveside service: 1:00 p.m. Friday (1-15-21) Wyuka Cemetery, 3600 ‘O’ Street conducted with full military rites. Please meet at the ‘O’ street entrance.
