Mary Cathleen Gaddis, 54, of Lincoln, passed away on September 14, 2019. Born on July 8, 1965 in Edenton, North Carolina to Clifford and Marian (Miller) Pierce.
Mary had many hobbies with her favorite being her fur babies. When she wasn’t tending to her beloved pets, you could find her busy with reading, gambling, crocheting, shopping or cooking. She also was proud of the fact she was a big social media buff. Other interests include drawing and writing even so she had one of her poems published; she also enjoyed time with her 5 daughters and 9 grandchildren.
Family members include her husband, Jerry Burke; daughters, Katie Dowdy, Sarah (Trenton) Judy, Jodie (Matthew) Hansen, Megan (Joshua) DuBois, and Jennifer (James) Chapman; grandchildren, Layla and Ethan Judy, Linzee, Kylee and Matthew Jr. Hansen, Haiden and Noah DuBois, Olivia and Crosby Chapman; parents, Marian and Delmer Gilbert; sisters, Karen, Misty and Katrina. Preceded in death by her fur baby, Skitts.
Memorial Service will be on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 O Street, Lincoln.
