Barbara Gardner Churchill

Barbara Gardner Churchill, 87, of Lincoln, passed away April 10, 2018. Born April 26, 1930 in Omaha, NE to Fred and Henriette R. (Claussen) Gardner. Married Roy E. Churchill in 1950. Ret. 1992, after 23 years as administrative assistant for UNL Arts & Sciences Dept. Member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church; former Vice-President of Pi Beta Phi Alumni Association; PEO Chapters CS-DK where she served as President four times for each chapter. Barbara was also very active in the Campfire Girls Association.

Family members include her son, Mark A. (Laurie) Churchill, Lincoln; daughters, Mary K. Churchill, Lincoln and Margaret A. Churchill-Black (James), Papillion; grandchildren, Sara Barrow, Vail, CO, Kate Barrow, Lincoln, Michaela Black, Denver, CO and Aaron Black, Papillion, Alex Churchill, Mountain View, CA and Maesen Churchill, Palo Alto, CA; great-grandson, Demetrius Barrow; sister, Marnie G. (Jeffre) Cheuvront, Lincoln. Preceded in death by parents and her husband.

Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday (4-14-18) Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 6001 A Street with The Rev. Susanna DesMarais officiating. Inurnment in the Holy Trinity Columbarium.
