Donald E. Althouse, 82, of Waverly passed away on February 23, 2018 in Lincoln. Born July 3, 1935 in Lincoln, NE to Clarence Arthur and Alice Marian (Cooley) Althouse, Sr.
Donald was a lifelong farmer and a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Waverly.
Family members include his wife, Darlene; sons, Dennis (Larissa) Althouse and Douglas W. (Deb) Althouse; daughter, Dianne M. (Mike) McCoy; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Clarence Arthur Althouse, Jr.; sisters, Louise (Mervel) Reed and Doris Maahs. Preceded in death by his parents and son, Daniel E. Althouse.
Visitation will be held 4-9 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Roper and Sons Waverly Chapel.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Peace Lutheran Church, Waverly, NE.
