Vernon L. Borer, 79, Lincoln, passed away December 20, 2017.

Survived by his wife, Eleanor M. (Reicks) Borer of Lincoln and seven children, five sons and two daughters: Robert J. Borer of Lincoln, Michael A. Borer (daughter-in-law–Susan) of Kansas City, Patrick V. Borer (daughter-in-law-Jennifer) of Lincoln, Deborah A. Struwe (son-in-law-Robert) of Lincoln, Todd C. Borer (daughter-in-law-Kim) of Ogallala, Katherine M. Heilesen (son-in-law-Douglas) of Denison, IA, Scott T. Borer (daughter-in-law-Gina) of Columbus, Barbara Borer of Lincoln and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his sister Arlene Nissen of Petersburg, his brothers William Borer of Norfolk and James Borer of Albion. He is preceded in death by his parents: Louis and Clara Borer, his father and mother-in-law Alphonse and Elizabeth Reicks, his brothers Ray and Norbert, sisters Mary and Marge.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday 12/29/17 at Roper and Sons Funeral Home, 4300 ‘O’ Street.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the funeral on Friday.
