Edward “Barry” Schuelke was born November 18, 1931 to Edward J. and Anastasia (Barry) Schuelke. He died September 16, 2017 at the Central City Care Center at the age of 86. He grew up in Alvo Nebraska.
Barry was a graduate of Northeast High School in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict Era and Peacetime. He served in the U.S. Navy and Marines Corps. Barry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Charles “Bruce” Schuelke. Barry is survived by sister Carolyn Gillen. Nephews and nieces Mark Griffen, Molly Eboli, Bruce Schuelke Jr., Terry Hiemer, Michelle Morton, Joni Warga, Scott Schuelke and many great nephews and nieces.
Memorials may be given to the Central City Care Center Staff in Central City, NE, for their care and compassion through the years.
