William Taylor Davey, 75, of Lincoln, passed away January 31, 2019. Born June 23, 1943 in Lincoln, NE to Seldon and Helen (Taylor) Davey.
Bill established BB&R Pawn Shop in the mid 80’s on 21st & O Street. With the help of family, he grew the business and moved it to 17th & O in the early 90’s where it grew for the next 20+ years. He enjoyed life and easily made friends wherever he went. He loved being outside, yard work, life on the lake, woodworking, remodeling projects, and his numerous beloved golden retrievers.
Family members include his son Chris Davey, Lincoln; daughters Missy (Harlan, Jr.) Doeschot, Firth, Suzy (Scott) Shipman, West Lebanon, NH, Cheryl (Bob) Little, Lincoln, Christa (Terry) Worick, Eagle, Heather Davey, Lincoln; and 15 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Bob and sister Marty Lessor.
Memorial service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (2-6-19) Lincoln Berean Church, 6400 South 70th Street.
