Maria, I am sad for you and your family. Although I now live in the Black Hills of South Dakota, I read of Bob’s passing on-line. I found Bob to be humorous, ornery, fun, helpful, and passionate about his cars and the tools that kept them running. (I am the person who bought your blue MB convertible at the garage sale). I will remember both you and Bob as kind, honest, and endearing folks who worked hard and lived well. May you find comfort in 56+ years of memories with this wonderful man. Be well dear lady. -molly hoffmann

I’m so sad to see this. I have worked at the VA for many years and always enjoyed seeing him. I’m so sorry for your sudden loss. I thank him and his family for his service.
