Michael Allen Bruhn, 37, of Lincoln passed away on August 4, 2019. Mike was born on January 4, 1982 in Columbus, NE to Leon and Donna (Nitz) Bruhn.
Mike was baptized and confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church in rural Columbus. He was a member of the Good Guys 4-H Club where he participated in showing sheep at the Platte County and State Fairs.
Mike graduated in 2000 from Humphrey High School. He was an avid baseball fan and liked the Chicago Cubs and Kansas City Royals. He was also a fan of Husker football and baseball. Mike was a budding NASCAR fan. He enjoyed being with friends and family, playing darts, listening to music, his pets and all animals.
Michael married Shelly (Miller) Bruhn on January 20, 2012. They had two daughters; Hannah Mae (7) and Kaitlyn Rae (4). He worked as an electrician at Scheer Electric. Mike was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Lincoln.
Michael is survived by his wife Shelly Bruhn; daughters Hannah and Kaitlyn; parents Leon and Donna Bruhn, Lincoln; brother Scott Bruhn, Omaha; nephew Austin Bruhn; brother BJ (Raechelle) Bruhn, Lincoln; niece Jazmine and nephew Max; parents-in-law Tom and Lois Miller, Verdon, NE ; sister-in-law Peggy (Rick) Adams, Verdon, NE; nephew Payton and niece Lillian; brother-in-law Thomas (Arie) Miller, Bellows Falls, VT; nephew Tommy; numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Walter and Violet Bruhn and maternal grandparents Eldon “Bud” and Helen Nitz; uncle Derrol Nitz.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Friday (8-9-19) Christ Lutheran Church, 4325 Sumner Street.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
