Matthew M. “Tony” Donnermeyer, 95, of Lincoln, passed away on Wednesday, May 15th, 2019. Born on May 1, 1924 in Omaha, NE to Matthew and Christina (Pohl) Donnermeyer. He married Berna Mae “Betty” in 1950 in Windhorst, Kansas. They were married for sixty years before Betty passed in 2010. Tony enjoyed shooting pool, dancing, sports, cars and telling jokes. He spent most of his retired winters in Texas.
Family members include his children, Paulette, Omaha; Dennis; Portsmouth, NH; Michael, Lincoln; Toni Ann, Omaha; grandchildren, Ali, Holly, Brett and Lindsey. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, one brother and one sister.
Memorial Service will be on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 “O” Street, Lincoln.
No visitation, his wishes were to donate his body to medical science.
