Jane Owen Smith, 89, of Lincoln, passed away May 1, 2018. Born in Palos, Alabama and grew up in Northport, Alabama. Jane has been a resident of Lincoln, NE since 1980. She was a graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School and the University of Alabama. Jane was an elementary school teacher in Alabama and Florida. A lifelong member of the United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by parents James W. and Clara Owen; daughter Janice “Jan” Webster; and brother Charles Owen.
Survived by her son Jeff Smith, Lincoln; brothers James Owen and Foster Owen, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service and burial will be in Northport, Alabama.
