Harry D. Pleasant

Harry D. Pleasant, 81, of Lincoln, died on March 7, 2020.  Born on November 1, 1938 in Hannibal, MO, to Harry William and Iola (Clark) Pleasant.  Harry was an avid sports fan.  His favorite teams were the St. Louis Cardinals and the KC Chiefs.  Harry enjoyed watching Nascar and never missed a race.  Every year, Harry took such pride in his annual Christmas Village.  Family members would gift him new buildings to add to it each year. He was a man with great regard, decency and pride.  Harry a member of the Machinist Union and National Bowlers Association.

Above all, Harry loved his family.  He adored his wife of 53 years, cherished his children, and spoiled his grandchildren.  He will be missed beyond measure.

Family members include his wife, Phyllis; children, Michael Pleasant, Julie (Joe) Byler, Ronald Dale (Tammy) Pleasant, Deanne Lea Pleasant; sister, Jacquele Collins; sister-in-law, Delta Wiedmam; Grandchildren, Sara Morgan, Matthew Morgan, Christopher Morgan, Michael Pleasant Jr., Chad Pleasant, Anjuli Pleasant; great-grandchildren, Ava Morgan, Jason Stolle, Blake Stolle, Jayden Morgan, Cyante Pleasant, Lincoln Morgan, Henley Pleasant, Alliana Byler and Kare’ Pleasant.

Memorial Service: Thursday 3/12/2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive (40th & Yankee Hill), Rev. Dr. David Lux officiating.

Visitation: Wednesday 3/11/2020 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel.

Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
