Harlan Paul Baehr
Harlan Paul Baehr, 77, of Lincoln passed away September 12, 2018. Born December 12, 1940 in Beatrice, NE to Williams and Emma (Buhr) Baehr. Harlan worked on various farms while in school. After high school he worked for the Nebraska Department of Roads, Dobson Brothers Construction Co., Constructors, Inc. and Dutrol Inc. for over 50 years. After retirement he was a volunteer for Bridges to Hope, and Sheridan Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife Verda (Rabel) Baehr; son Mark Baehr, Lincoln; daughter Lori (Joe) O’Boyle, Downers Grove, IL; grandsons Jonathan and Ben O’Boyle, IL; brother Lee Baehr, CO and Bill Baehr, MO; sisters Leanna (Joe) Minick, Beatrice, Linda (Mike) Williams, Connie Baehr (Ted Munsch) and Shirley Baehr, all of FL; Betty (Dave) Friedrichs, KS, Debra (Chris) Caudill, Lincoln. Preceded in death by parents, sister Carolyn George and grandson Shawn O’Boyle.
Celebration of Life will be held at Sheridan Lutheran Church 6955 Old Cheney Rd. on 10:30 a.m. Tuesday (9-18-18).
Burial will take place in Highland Cemetery, Adams, NE. at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Bridges to Hope, 3107 S. 6th St. Ste #107 (02).
No visitation/cremation.
