Grace Irene (Heins) Wright, Ph.D., 92, of Lincoln passed away June 2, 2018. She was born January 10, 1926, in Chappell, Nebraska to Rev. John Heins and Helen Kastner Heins. She received a BS from the University of Nebraska, and a masters and doctorate in industrial psychology from the Pennsylvania State University. She developed psychology courses at Penn State and was involved with standard test validation for ATT, the Supermarket Institute of America and NY State.
Grace Wright is survived by her brothers, Robert Heins (Colorado), Rev. John Heins and his wife, Wilma (Michigan), her sisters, Dorian Merritt (Nebraska), and Ruth Kiekhaefer Harnapp and her husband, Vern (Florida and Missouri), her two sons, Gary A. Wright, and his wife, Jena (Colorado), and Alan Wright and his wife, Anne (Nebraska). She also is survived by four grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Suzanne, and Wes, and one great-granddaughter, Naomi Wright. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Heins, M.D., and by her husband of more than fifty years, Thomas A. Wright.
A memorial services will be held at Roper and Sons, 4300 O Street, Lincoln, Nebraska on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 10:00 a.m.
