Eric David Bigler, 47, of Lincoln, owner of Bigler Motors, died April 17, 2019. Born March 13, 1972, in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Dr. David and Judy Bigler. He graduated from Lincoln East High School in 1991. He married Lori Schrader on September 6, 1997.
Eric opened Bigler Motors in 1998 at 18th and O Street. He earned his reputation as a big man with a big heart, kind, loyal, and generous with his time, resources and friendship. He gave second chances, third chances and fourth and fifth chances, offering forgiveness freely. Eric participated in and gave to numerous charity events in and around the Lincoln community and was a member of the Nebraska Motor Vehicle Industry Licensing Board. Humble and humorous, with strong convictions, Eric was devoted most of all to his wife and sons, his family, friends, employees and co-workers.
