Eli Nathan Miller

November 26, 1977 - September 5, 2021

Eli Nathan Miller

Eli Nathan Miller, 43, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021, while in a tragic vehicle accident southeast of Lincoln. Eli was born to Michael A. Miller and Barbara A. (Crayton) Miller in Kailua, Hawaii on November 26, 1977. He attended Messiah Lutheran Elementary School and East High School in Lincoln. After high school, he took classes through Southeast and Central Community Colleges. Eli started his own lawn service called Good Life Mowing. He designed his own colorful yard signs and doorhangers and constructed his own equipment trailer to look like a chariot.

Eli had a great sense of humor. You could hear his laugh all over the house, particularly with jokes he cracked himself. He could walk up to and start talking to just about anyone. People who knew him said that he was destined to be a salesman.

We think Eli could have been a chef. He was constantly taking pictures of his own food creations and meals at restaurants and sharing them with friends and family members. He loved clothes, shoes and shopping and had great fashion sense with color and texture combinations. He always ironed his clothes before he went anywhere.

Eli was a bargain hunter and enjoyed going to estate sales and thrift shops and picking up unique items to decorate his apartment. Another of Eli’s hobbies was watching TV. His favorite shows included Shark Tank and anything from the History or Christian Channels. Eli had a soft spot in his heart for dogs and cats and recently rescued an orphaned wild kitten found at a work site.

Eli was touched by finally getting to reunite with his birth father’s family members. Eli was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be sorely missed.

Eli is survived by his mother and stepfather, Barb and Tom Rolfes, brother Adam Rolfes, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael A. Miller, and brother, Christopher M. Miller.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
