Lifting prayers for peace, comfort, love, and light as you grieve Dave’s death. Special thoughts to Mary and Paul.
I am writing from The Victorian Retirement Center which is where David passed away on Sunday. He was leading a worship service for us at the time. We are so sorry about his untimely passing and also very grateful for how he served us for many years. I also wanted to note that the last hymn we sang that day was ‘I Love to Tell the Story’. Our sympathies to friends and family.
Thanks Jon. God clearly had His hand in Dave’s last day, and you were a vital part of it. May God bless.
My condolences to the extended Morgan family. Dave was my first cousin on my father’s side and when I was a little girl we got to go to Washington DC and see him play with the Marine band.
I was very surprised to read about David’s passing just now. I have thought about your whole family for years and wondered where you all were to read David was right here in Lincoln. It is so very hard losing a sibling. We lost Bud in 2005 and Bob, 9 months after Bud died. You probably remember us as we lived across the street from your family on West Rio. David was my age. I would have loved to of come to the services on Sunday, but just now am reading of David’s passing. I am so glad he was a Christian. Please feel free to contact me and maybe we could catch up. Very fond memories and remember your dad being a police officer and how cool that was!!!!
