Daniel R. Remigio

Daniel R. Remigio, 99, of Lincoln, passed away December 17, 2018. Born July 5, 1919 in Campbell, Ohio to Gino and Concetta (DeFelicibus) Remigio. 1941 graduate of Wooster College in Wooster, Ohio. WWII and Korean War U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. Retired in 1984 after 39 years with the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., 25 as Lincoln Plant Manager.

Daniel was a member of the St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church and Rotary Club #14. In 1971, he brought Junior Achievement to Lincoln. He served on numerous banks, insurance and hospital boards and was a benefactor with the LPD K-9 Unit.

Family members include daughter Lynda Remigio; son Terry (Linda) Remigio; and daughters Sue (Dean) Belka and Barb Eades; grandchildren Angela Remigio, Stephanie (Stephen) Hubach, Matt (Nichol) Belka, Katie (Alan) Becker, Jordan and Cole Eades; great-grandchildren Sophie and Chase Belka, Boden, Burke and Lillian Jane Becker. Preceded in death by his wife Lillian Jane.

Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday (1-19-19) St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 2325 South 24th Street with Rev. Fr. Steve Lahey, Rev. Mother Amanda Gott and Rev. Mother Reagan Gonzalez officiating.

Memorials in lieu of flowers to Junior Achievement of Lincoln, St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church or the LPD K-9 Unit.

A gathering with family and friends will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive (40th & Yankee Hill Rd.).
