Chad M. Kohout

Chad M. Kohout, 39, of Cortland passed away on March 9, 2019. Born June 3, 1979 to John and Judy (Cramer) Kohout in Lincoln, NE. Chad had a love of baseball and played for Coffeeville Community College and Peru St. College. He worked as a professional plumber most of his life. Chad was a past member of St. Jame’s Catholic Church in Cortland, past NBA youth baseball coach, Hickman American Legion baseball coach, and was on the John’s Plumbing men’s fast pitch softball team.

Survivors include his father, John Francis Kohout; siblings, Cindy (Bill) Price, Scott (Lisa) Kohout, Gina (Todd) Vergil; niece, Carli Kohout; nephews, Blake, Preston, and Connor Price, Caden Kohout, Treyton, Beau, Beckett Vergil; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones. Preceded in death by his mother, Judy; grandparents, Frank and Helen Kohout, Alvin and Frieda Cramer.

A Celebration of Life service will be 11 a.m., Monday, March 18, 2019 at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Dr., Lincoln, NE.
Cremation/no visitation.

Memorial contributions may be directed towards the Cortland Fire & Rescue, (100 S. Sherman Ave., Cortland, NE, 68331) Norris Baseball Scholarship, or NBA Titans Baseball.
