Craig was commissioned into the United States Army Field Artillery, Pershing Nuclear Missiles. Craig joined the Missouri National Guard for several years after this. Craig served several places in Germany and throughout the United States, worked on the Pershing Nuclear Missile, and proudly was part of the 74th and 85th USAFAD. Craig retired from the Army as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Craig was strong-willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor, including a quick one-liner for almost any circumstance. He was generous, loyal, and brave. He was clever and full to the brim with knowledge gained through all his life experiences. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He will be missed dearly.
We will be holding a Celebration of Life for him on Thursday, November 2nd at 11am. This will be at Capitol City Christian Church, 7800 Holdrege St. There will be a luncheon to follow.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you consider donations in his name to Second Chance Pups: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=3DTXAJH8QPY8C
