JoAnn was an enthusiastic genealogist and worked not only on her own heritage, but also spent many hours preserving records for other researchers. She hosted people at her home to first transcribe information and then check and re check for accuracy, all with a gracious smile and cheerful demeanor. It was only a short time ago she contacted LLCGS regarding genealogy information she hoped was still saved. I was glad to tell her it is. If she left behind any genealogy documents that the family wishes to give to the LLCGS collection, please contact me. Judi Cook judiology41@gmail.com or 402 416 9139.
