Zinta Perkons, 91, Omaha, passed away July 10, 2017. Born February 9, 1926 in Maz Skudras, Latvia to Fricis and Ieva (Ansbergs) Tramdachs. Ret. Unit Secretary for Bergan Mercy Hospital. Member of UinitedLatvian Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lincoln, and Daugavas Vanagi.
Family members include sister Valija Garais; Zinta’s sons, Harolds (Kristy) and Edgars (Nancy); daughter, Rita (Andris) Johansons; grandchildren, Melissa, Brad(Stephanie), Aaron (Ashley), Nicholas, Jennifer, Alexander and Eva; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Josh, Lilly, Kiera, Sarah and Tristan. Preceded in death by parents, husband Leonard, infant son Roberts, and brothers Fricis and Arturs.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday July 14, 2017 Roper and Sons Funeral Home, 4300 ‘O’ Street, Lincoln. Visitation from 4-8 p.m. Thursday with family present from 6-8 p.m. at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
