Zigrida Snook

Zigrida Snook, 73, of Lincoln passed away September 27, 2018. She was born April 3, 1945 to Alex and Erika (Stengels) Civkulis in Biln Czechoslovakia. She came to the United States in 1950 with her parents and siblings.

She was a member of the Latvian Ev. Lutheran Church of Lincoln and the head hostess and cater for the Daugavas Vanagi Inc., Women’s Auxiliary and women’s work group. She worked for over 15 years as a volunteer at the Lux Art Center, the Whitehall School and as a baker for HyVee. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking and traveling.

Zigrida is survived by her husband Phillip and daughter Jenifer of Lincoln, son Daniel wife Tami and granddaughter Erika of CA, sister Inese Civkulis of CA and brother George Civkulis of FL.

Memorial services will be Friday, October 5, 2019, 3:00 pm, at the Roper and Sons Funeral Chapel 4300 ‘O’ St. Lincoln. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services.

Memorials are suggested to the Latvian Ev. Lutheran Church or Daugavas Vanagi Inc.
