William “Bill” L. Hickerson, 71, of Bennet passed away on November 10, 2018. Born May 25, 1947 to Ivan and Patricia (Cappen) Hickerson in Leavenworth, KS. A United States Army Veteran, member of the American Legion, DAV, and served as past deacon at Immanuel Church.
Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer (Richard) Bretta and Sharon (Antonio) (Strodtman) Carrillo; grandchildren, Tristan, Mikah, Erik, Morgan, and Brooke; great grandchild, Graves; brothers, Gerald (Lynda) Worm, Kenneth (Virginia) Worm, Leslie (Jolene) Worm, Vernon (Michelle) Worm; sisters, Patty Wheatley, Linda (Wesley) Allen, Yvonne Cassell, Amy Jo Worm; many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Preceded in death by his wife, Sheryl Hickerson, parents, and brothers Stephen L. Hickerson and Michael Worm.
Memorial gathering with family greeting friends 5-7 p.m. Tuesday (11-13-18) at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel.
Celebration of Life service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday (11-14-18) at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Dr., Lincoln, NE.
Burial at Lincoln Memorial Park.
