Ruth Fern Maahs, 92, Lincoln, passed away July 23, 2017. Born December 27, 1924 in Chester, Nebraska to John S. and Alta H. (Thomas) Crouse. Homemaker. Member of the Red Hat Society.
Family members include her daughter, Mary (Gregory) Becker, Lincoln; sons, John Maahs, Unadilla, Jim Maahs, Eagle, and Carl Maahs, Walton; granddaughter, Rhianna Becker, Lincoln; brother, Wilbert (Jean) Crouse, Chester. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Everett; son, Roger, and brother, John Crouse.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (7-26-17) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street with Pastor Kerry O’Bryant officiating. Interment will be in the Bennet Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.

Visitation: family will greet friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Roper and Sons.
