Norma Elaine Cady, 93, Lincoln, passed away November 7, 2018. Born May 31, 1925 in Red Oak, Iowa the daughter of Gustav E. and Florence C. (Cates) Hilding. Retired in 1995 after 20 years as bookkeeper for John Bordogna Painting Company. She also was a greeter at King’s Food Host.
Norma was a former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Red Oak, and one of the founding families of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Lincoln where she was a Sunday school teacher and youth leader. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, writing and being a caregiver to her family.
Survived by her husband Neal Cady, Maryville, Missouri; sons Gerald E. (Sandy) Logan, Jeff E. (Lisa) Logan; daughter Jeris E. Haney, all of Lincoln; 6 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; first husband Neal Logan in 1984.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday (11-13-18) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street. 2:00 p.m. burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak, Iowa.
