Mary Virginia Meckel, 77 of Lincoln, passed away on Friday September 28, 2018. She was born February 6, 1941 in Chadron, NE to Benjamin and Virginia (Ilgenfritz) Meckel. She was a Professor of Sociology. Mary loved reading, gardening and baking.
Mary is survived by her daughter Christina (Christopher) Cayo, Grandchildren, Wyatt Hudson, Trinity, Isaac and Nathaniel Pilgrim all of CA. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Benjamin.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
