Mary Louise (Stoneberg) Grendahl, 80, died peacefully in her sleep on 10/1/18 at Lancaster Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln, NE. Mary was born in Lincoln and resided just south of Davey, Nebraska for most of her life. She attended the one room school house, near Davey. Mary then graduated from Waverly High School in 1956. She was a homemaker, and later a Military wife, who raised 3 sons. She was very social, and loved crafting, pictures of family and friends, and home decorating. Mary had quite the sense of humor, and was very tough and spirited.
Mary is survived by her 3 sons, their wives and children; Jeff and Debbie (Las Vegas), Cliff, Suzanne and Jacob (Phoenix, Clarence, Elissa, Samantha and Madison Grendahl, and Alex, Abby and Jaxon Lollman (Crete, NE) and cousins Lollars, Andersons, and Robbins families.
The family wishes to thank all family and friends who visited her, and the nurses and doctors who cared for her during her last days at Lancaster Rehabilitation and Bryan Hospital.
There will be a Celebration of Life service for family and friends in the Spring of 2019. The family will have a private burial in the Danish Cemetery, near Davey, NE.
