Loren Arthur Marks, 86, of Lincoln, passed away October 12, 2017. Born June 9, 1931 in Huntley, Nebraska to Edwin E. and Elsie L. (Homburg) Marks. Machinist/Physics Department of the University of Nebraska Lincoln. Served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Past Member VFW/American Legion. He enjoyed golfing, crossword puzzles, Husker and Green Bay Packer fan.
Surviving family members include Special friend, Shirley Bradsby, Lincoln; brother, Loyal Marks, Bullhead City, AZ; sister, Violet (John) Baker, Lincoln; daughter-in-law, Mary Marks, NC; grandsons, David and Stephen Marks; niece, Christine Brakhage; nephews, Matthew and Mark Baker; extended family and friends. Preceded in death by parents and son, William.
Graveside Service: 9:30 a.m. Monday (10-16-17) Please meet at Gate #2 at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Celebration of Life Service: 11:00-1:00pm Monday (10-16-17) Roper & Sons Reception Facility. Please park in West parking lot of Roper & Sons. 4300 ‘O’ Street.
