June Brunmeier (Ayers), 86, of Lincoln passed away on November 5, 2018. Born July 4, 1932 to George and June (Winter) Ayers in Evanston, IL. June received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Nebraska in 1954 and was an instructor for the Fundamentals of Nursing at Bryan School of Nursing in 1955. On June 10, 1956, she married Richard Brunmeier DDS. Member of First Presbyterian Church, P.E.O. Chapter FB in Lincoln, NE and Past State President of P.E.O from 1988-1989.
She is survived by her children, Christine Thurlow PhD of Overland Park, KS, Richard A. (Sherri) Brunmeier DDS of Lincoln, Ronald P. Brunmeier of Lincoln; grandchildren, Stephanie June Brunmeier, Richard Wayne Brunmeier, Sarah Beth Thurlow, Holly Christine Thurlow; identical twin sister, Janet Ayers Lindley; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Richard.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday (11-9-18) at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Dr. No visitation.
