James Lee Wetzler

James Lee Wetzler, born July 18, 1952 in Burke, South Dakota to Adolf and Ina Mae Wetzler. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 17, 2018.

He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, his father Adolf Wetzler and his brother Allyn.

He is survived by his mother Ina Mae Wetzler. His wife Linda Wetzler. His children Tracy(David) Hanzek, Pamela Register, Pennie Nickles, Robyn Nickles, Sunnie Kanter(Rick Hall), Joey, Lizzy, Jake, Jessie and Josh Wetzler. His grandkids Geoffrey, Gerrod, Cole, Joseph, Samantha, Jayden, Danielle, Derrick, Skylar, Jace, and Krew. His siblings Mary Jeane(John) Nickless, George(Mary) Wetzler, Vicki(Mike) Allwein, Luann Wetzler, and his mother-in-law Betty Ward.

Jim was very proud to have been a part of the StarTran team for the last 18 years. He attended the Lincoln Berean Church.

He was truly at peace when he was at the cabin surrounded by the sand and water. There is nothing Jim wouldn’t do for those that he loved at the expense of himself. He didn’t show his heart to everyone but those that he did have been blessed because of it.

Celebration of Life Service: 10:00 a.m. Thursday (3-22-18) Lincoln Berean Church, 6400 South 70th Street.

In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the family to establish an educational fund.
